Michelle has been researching her own family history for the past 30 years, and branches of the family have been located in most states in Australia, as well as America, New Zealand, England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. She therefore has experience researching using a number of different resources.

Michelle is a website designer, family historian and genealogist. Other qualifications include a Diploma of Freelance Journalism and a Diploma of Business Studies. She is also a member of the Genealogical Society of Victoria, and several English Family History Societies.

Michelle has written numerous articles and has been published in the English "Family Tree Magazine", London's "Cockney Ancestor" and the Australian "Ancestor" magazine.

This year (2017) Michelle has written four family history articles for the English "Your Family History" Magazine.

In 2015 she completed a Certificate of Family History Skills and Strategies (Society of Genealogists in London).

Michelle provides written stories of your family by researching various sources on the Internet, and also using the resources of the LDS Family History Library, Public Record Office of Victoria, State Library of Victoria, and Genealogical Society of Victoria.

Some of the resources Michelle uses are Birth, Death and Marriages Indexes, Parish Registers, Probate Indexes, Wills, Inquests, International Genealogical Index, Censuses, Electoral rolls, Directories, Newspaper Clippings, Cemeteries records.
