Walter Kendall was born at Pelyn, Cornwall, England around 1568 to parents Walter Kendall 1543-1593 and Agnes Beville 1546-1594. (Burke’s Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Landed Gentry, 18th edition. 3 volumes. London, England: Burke’s Peerage Ltd, 1965-1972).
Walter was married around 1597 (perhaps earlier) in Lanlivery, Cornwall to Catherine Hellyar, the daughter of John Hellyar alias Mayow and Katherine Trevillian.
They had one known child Nicholas Kendall in 1598 in Lanlivery. British Landed Gentry 1965 volume 1, page 503.
Walter was named as the eldest son and heir of his father Walter in his will in 1593.
