William Pickrin was born in Hackness, Yorkshire, England around 1575.
His baptism has not been found but he was not baptised in 1578 to Henrici Pickrin – that William was buried in September 1578.
William married Alice Redshaw on 10 January 1695 at the parish church of St Peters, Hackness, Yorkshire.
The marriage register, written in latin states – Willm. Pickrin ett Alice Redshawe nupti sunt 10 Jan 1595.
William and Alice Pickrin (Pickering) had nine children all baptised in Hackness, Yorkshire –

William Pickrin was mentioned in a booklet titled “A history of Ebberston” as farming at Ebberston in 1613.
Possibly the son of Sir Christopher Pickering, eldest son of James Pickering who was married to Elizabeth Threckeld. It was Christopher Pickering who inherited Threkeld?
